This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Rotary Club of Spring Township Centennial’s Casino Night, and I can’t stop smiling thinking about all the amazing conversations and connections I made throughout the evening.

Casino Night was more than just a good time – it was all about philanthropy with a purpose. The atmosphere in the room was filled with joy, the games were lively, and most importantly, the cause was truly meaningful. The event raised crucial funds for the Veterans Coalition of Pennsylvania (VCOP), an organization doing vital work to support our veterans.

Coming from a family of public servants and having spent my career advocating for justice, I hold our veterans in the highest regard. They’ve sacrificed for our safety and freedom, and they deserve robust support systems when they come home. That’s what made this night so special – not just the festive vibe, but the strong dedication to honoring and helping those who’ve given so much.

I got to chat with community members, fellow professionals, and committed volunteers – all united by the same goal: to strengthen Berks County through service, support, and connection. I’m always inspired by how events like this bring people together, not just for fun, but to do meaningful work.

A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Spring Township Centennial for organizing such an engaging evening and for continually finding innovative ways to uplift others. Whether in courtrooms or community centers, it’s these collective efforts that drive us forward – and I’m proud to be part of it.
