A Career Defined by Dedication
Lauren Marks’ Legal Experience
Civil and Family Law cases make up a large portion of the county court’s workload, and Lauren is already entrusted by the court to handle many of these types of cases. Whether running her own law firm or serving as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem, she has a well-earned reputation for protecting children, defending our Constitutional Rights, and upholding the values of our community. She is poised to bring a conservative approach to the bench, emphasizing law and order and impartial and ethical decisions.
Lauren graduated from Penn State University before earning her law degree from Duquesne University Kline School of Law, where she was honored with the International Trial Advocacy Award. Prior to serving in the Berks County Public Defender’s office where she focused on criminal law and juvenile defendants with a goal of rehabilitation to help them become successful members of the community, she clerked for a county court judge handling criminal, civil, and juvenile court cases. Lauren also ran her own law firm before merging and becoming a partner at Palange, Endres, and Marks, PC where she works today.

“I went to court for 14 years. I feel like my children didn’t really have a voice until a Guardian ad Litem was assigned, and I’m so grateful that it was Lauren Marks. It was very comforting to know that my children could talk to this persona safely, and there was no pressure. Without Lauren Marks, who knows what would have happened.”
